  • Build processes and set up controls
  • Great understanding of SOX and GAAP to prepare for an Audit down the road
  • Evaluate current financial operations and seek out areas of improvement and greater productivity in financial processes
  • Prepare internal and external financial statements and create transparency in financial operations across the organization
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, including taxes for Arizona, Colorado, New Hampshire, Nevada, Texas and Utah
  • Provide clear financial analysis to the Executive team and assist in financial planningRequirements:
    • Masters Degree in Accounting
    • 2 -4 years of experience as an accountant or finance professional with at least 2 years in public accounting or audit role
    • Willingness to thoroughly understand business processes to create strategic financial insights
    • Active CPA license preferred
    • Understanding of tax codes and laws a plus
    • Demonstrated history creating consistent, clear financial reports and effectively communicating financial needs to Executive team
    • Experience building and enforcing financial controls and adhering to corporate governance policies
