GXO Logistics, a pioneering leader in the Transportation and Logistics sector, is searching for a Senior Director of International Accounting to oversee our global accounting practices, ensuring compliance and driving financial strategies aligned with our mission of leveraging technology to enhance supply chain efficiency. This role is pivotal in sustaining our global financial health and involves collaboration with diverse team members across various international offices. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker proficient in creating robust accounting frameworks that support cost efficiency and promote business growth in alignment with GXO’s operational goals. Develop and implement international accounting policies and strategies in line with GXO’s business objectives. Ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and other local regulations across all regions. Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial consolidation and reporting processes. Manage and mentor a diverse team of accounting professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance. Collaborate with corporate and regional leaders to align financial strategies and optimize cost efficiency. Navigate complex tax strategies and ensure compliance with tax regulations in different jurisdictions. Support financial audits and maintain relationships with external auditors. Provide strategic financial insights to help shape GXO’s global operational strategies and investments. Expertise in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) Proficiency with large ERP systems (Oracle, SAP) Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Ability to design and implement complex financial strategies Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent international qualification Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification is a plus
