Job Description:

As a Director of Valuations at Fidelity Investments, you will lead and oversee the valuations department, focusing on the accuracy and integrity of the valuation process across all investment products. This role involves significant interaction with senior management and requires a deep understanding of valuation techniques, financial modeling, and regulatory requirements as they pertain to asset valuation. You will be instrumental in guiding strategic decisions, advising on valuation impacts, and ensuring compliance with both internal standards and external regulations. Develop and implement policies and procedures for the valuation of complex financial instruments. Oversee the daily operations of the valuations team, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all valuation reports. Liaise with other financial departments to assess market trends and the impact on valuations. Prepare and present valuation findings to senior management and external regulators. Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and internal controls. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of valuation professionals. Expertise in financial modeling and quantitative methods Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent leadership and team management capabilities Proficient in valuation software and Excel Ability to interpret and apply financial regulations Effective communication and presentation skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or CPA (Certified Public Accountant) required Relevant financial certifications or licenses as applicable
