coastal waters Detect and prevent the illegal entry of persons and
contraband into the United States Perform line-watch duties,
traffic check, traffic observation, city patrol, transportation
check, and administrative, intelligence, and anti-smuggling
activities Use electronic detection and apprehension equipment
Conduct searches and seizures consistent with agency policies
Ability to perform physically demanding tasks Strong interpersonal
and communication skills Proficiency in using law enforcement tools
and technology Critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
Fluency in Spanish is advantageous but not required Medical
