Asset Team Geologist - Permian Basin

Job Description:

Growing strong since 1999 this privately-held independent operator has a business model that is A&D driven. They are focused on acquisitions of conventional and unconventional plays in Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and the Mid-Continent. In growth mode, they are seeking an Asset Team Geologist for the Permian Basin.



Responsibilities include:


*Mapping/development of shale reservoirs


*Geosteering of horizontal shale wells


*Strong understanding and experience in the operational side of resource plays. This includes well planning and landing horizontal wells



Qualifications:


*BS in Geology


*Minimum of 5 years of industry experience with an operator


*Strongly desire experience in the Permian Basin but not a requirement


*Proficiency with the use of PETRA and MS Office
