Job Description:
Cox Automotive, a leader in automotive solutions, is seeking an
experienced Automotive Mechanic Shop Manager to oversee our dynamic
team of technicians and manage the daily operations of our
fully-equipped facility. This role is pivotal to maintaining the
high standards of service excellence and operational efficiency
that define Cox Automotive. The ideal candidate will bring in-depth
knowledge of automotive repair processes, a strong leadership
background, and excellent customer service skills to effectively
manage shop activities, ensuring optimal productivity and
exceptional quality of services offered. Manage and oversee all
day-to-day operations of the automotive service shop. Lead, train,
and develop a team of skilled automotive technicians. Ensure
compliance with all safety and environmental regulations. Manage
workflow to ensure efficient repair schedules and high-quality
service. Interact with customers, addressing service issues, and
ensuring customer satisfaction. Maintain inventory control and
order automotive parts and supplies. Develop and implement
strategies for revenue growth and cost reduction. Prepare and
analyze reports to monitor shop performance. Strong leadership and
team management skills In-depth knowledge of automotive systems and
repair techniques Proficiency in using automotive repair tools and
diagnostic equipment Excellent customer service and communication
skills Ability to manage and prioritize tasks effectively
