What You Will Do In This Role You will participate in development and evaluation of professional practice by participating on unit and/or hospital committees, special projects and attendance at staff meetings and town halls. You will actively participate in unit and/or hospital performance-improvement activities. You will provide education and emotional support appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstance and incorporate patient / family teaching into all aspects of nursing practice. You will assist with the pre-employment employee health process for new employees. You will be responsible for assisting with annual employee health requirements including TB testing, fit testing, vaccinations, as well as management of employee injuries. What qualifications you will need: Registered Nurse in the State of Texas or hold a compact license Associate Degree in Nursing, BSN preferred 5 years Hospital Nursing Medical City Plano opened in 1975 and provides Plano and Collin County with advanced health care.
