Work hours: Full Time, 36 Hours; 7:00pm - 7:00am

NICU Department highlights:

Here's What You Need

* Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program
* BSN preferred
* One-year experience as a clinical nurse in an acute care setting
* Two years of experience as a clinical nurse in an acute care setting preferred
* RN must practice within the regulations of the Texas Nurse Practice Act, serve as a role model, intra/interdisciplinary collaborator and coordinator for quality patient care

* Communicate and collaborate with all members of the healthcare team
* Support and actively participate in shared governance/councils
* Commit to developing individual knowledge and skills
* Assist leadership by offering staff guidance and support and ensure unit operational tasks are complete
* Understand how to anticipate, recognize and deal effectively with existing or potential conflicts at the individual, group or situation level
* Be knowledgeable of the decision-making process and associate tools and techniques
* Accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions base on informed judgment
