QualificationsThe Radiology Technologist operates standard,
portable, and specialized X-ray equipment to perform routine and
semi-complex radiographic examinations used by physicians for
diagnosis and treatment. We are an amazing team, that works hard to

who feels patient care is as meaningful as we do. -What you will do
in this role: - -
- You will prepare patients for radiological procedures and take
x-rays following established procedures for patient care and
safety. -
- You will develop and process films and transmit to a
Radiologist for interpretation. -
- You will administer contrast media and medications within the
accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal
regulations. -
- You will ensure prompt transfer of images and documents to PACS
system (image quality, correct lead markers and patient
data/history). - -
- You will turn over and prepare room using aseptic technique
between patients and clean / sterilize equipment. -
- You will follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines. -

What qualifications you will need:
- Must be a graduate of an AMA accredited program with a
certificate or degree in Radiographic Technology. -
- Should adhere to ARRT guidelines of obtaining 24 continuing
education credits bi-annually. -
- Must be ARRT Registered with ARRT - RT(R) or Registry eligible
(must be registered within one year of completing program). -

- BCLS Required. -
- Two years of experience as RT(R) preferred. Will consider
graduates. -
- On Call Required and must have the ability to report to LSMC
within 30 minutes of call back. -Medical City Plano opened in 1975
