ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in Frisco, Texas. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - NICU Job Details: • 13-week assignment working 3 twelve-hour shifts per week • 36 guaranteed hours per week • Weekend schedule - every other weekend required • No call requirements • CHARGE AND LEVEL 3 EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE • Minimum 2 years of hospital/specialty experience required • Care for 6-bed NICU with 3:1 patient ratios (estimated) • Work with infants requiring CPAP or ventilation • Experience with central lines and stabilization/attending deliveries preferred • Assist with line placement, circumcision, and intubation procedures • Provide family-centered care and developmental care • May float to newborn nursery as needed • Required certifications: BLS, NRP, STABLE, active RN license (temp license not accepted) • Work with GE bedside monitors, GE beds (Giraffe and Panda Warmers), Natus Neoblue phototherapy lights, and Neomed/Medfusion feeding/medication pumps • Document using Meditech and CPN systems • Dress code: Royal Blue scrubs from Scrubs and Beyond, no nail polish or artificial nails, neat and clean appearance with hair pulled back if shoulder length or longer, body art covered when possible, no visible piercings other than ears Facility: This healthcare facility features a brand new NICU service line with state-of-the-art equipment and technology.
