12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Active RN License
required. Temporary licenses will not be accepted. Certifications:
BLS, NRP, STABLE Must-Have: - 2 years of hospital or specialty
experience - Experience caring for infants requiring CPAP or
ventilation - Experience with central lines - Stabilization
experience/attending deliveries - Knowledge of developmental care
Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse specializing
in Labor & Delivery. The RN will be responsible for providing
high-quality care to patients. The unit will staff with a minimum
of 2 nurses per shift. The facility has 24/7 in-house support from
neonatal nurse practitioners and OB hospitalists. Documentation
systems used include Meditech and CPNS. The nursing staff should
expect to float as needed to the nursery. Attendance policies will
be strictly followed. The unit is equipped with top-of-the-line
equipment, ensuring the delivery of excellent patient care. Nurses
will work within a collaborative team environment that values skill
and teamwork. Clean and professional appearance is required, with
specific guidelines for dress and grooming. Body art should be
covered whenever possible, and visible piercings other than ears
are prohibited. This is a new service line that opened recently,
making it an opportunity to work in an innovative environment.
