Job Description:
Methodist Health System is seeking a dedicated and flexible
Resource Float Pool Registered Nurse to join our team. This
position offers the unique opportunity to work across various
departments within our hospitals and clinics across Texas,
providing critical nursing services wherever needed. This role is
ideal for those who excel in adapting to different clinical
environments and are committed to providing outstanding patient
care in a range of settings. Provide high-quality nursing care in
multiple clinical settings within the health system. Quickly adapt
to different departmental duties and work environments based on
assignment. Monitor patient health status and respond with
appropriate treatments and interventions. Collaborate with a
multidisciplinary team to facilitate comprehensive patient care.
Educate patients and their families on health conditions and
post-hospital care. Maintain accurate patient records and
administer medications per prescribed orders. Support departmental
health and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for all.
Strong clinical skills across a variety of specialties. Excellent
adaptability to rapidly changing environments and requirements.
Superb communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to
work effectively in a team and independently. High proficiency in
using medical software and patient management systems. Medical
Insurance Dental Insurance Life Insurance Active Registered Nurse
(RN) license in the state of Texas. BLS certified; ACLS
preferred.
