Job Description Job Description Salary: We are seeking an experienced on call Hospice RN to join our team full-time for our Dallas, TX locations. About Paloma Hospice and Palliative Care: We are a growing company with offices in San Antonio, Austin, Del Rio, Dallas, Tyler and Sherman Texas. Our owners are clinical in origin and maintain that our main focus is on patients, their family, and the care they receive at this difficult time of life. Responsibilities: Administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients Diagnose and establish patient treatment plans Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care Educate patients about health maintenance and disease prevention Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities Maintain accurate patient medical records Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members Qualifications: Previous hospice experience in nursing or other medical fields Familiarity with medical software and equipment Ability to build rapport with patients Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Job Type: PRN Pay: $100.00 Per Visit $200.00 Admissions $100.00 Death Visit Medical specialties: Hospice & Palliative Medicine License/Certification: Active TX Registered Nursing License Active TX Driver's License Active CPR Active Auto Insurance COVID-19 considerations: We are committed to the health and safety of our patients and staff.
