Job Description:
Primary Purpose: The primary purpose of the Housekeeping
Associate is to provide guests with an excellent room experience
while providing friendly, attentive, and timely service and through
ensuring that guest rooms and public areas meet high standards of
cleanliness and are properly presented. Work Performed: The
Housekeeping Associate will be tasked with the following duties,
responsibilities, and assignments: Clean and maintain hotel guest
rooms, public areas and laundry within the hotel per established
protocols, including but not limited to: Removal of all used and
unused linen/terry from room Disinfect all high touch surfaces and
unused amenities Clean bathrooms Clean glass and mirrors, dust and
polish furniture and equipment Replace burned out light bulbs
Remake beds with clean linens Replenish supplies such as drinking
glasses, writing supplies and bathroom supplies Empty wastebaskets
and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas Clean rugs,
carpets upholstered furniture and draperies; Ensure usage of
approved cleaning chemicals; Operate, stock and maintain storage
closets and room attendant carts to include such items as linens,
towels, toiletry items and cleaning supplies; Maintain cleanliness
and organization in all work areas; Examine and sort articles for
laundry according to color, fabric, dirt content, and cleaning
technique required; Use laundering equipment and the correct
amounts of proper chemicals to safely and thoroughly clean and
press linen; Make rounds through the halls each shift to ensure
public areas are disinfected, clean and tidy, Uphold departmental
standards of quality of work and timing measured by brand customer
satisfaction metrics and Atrium labor guidelines; May be required
to train newly hired associates and support on-going performance
development; Perform work on a deep cleaning and preventative
maintenance scheduled program for all areas of the hotel as
assigned. Use power equipment when applicable; Observe precautions
required to protect hotel and guest property, report damage, theft
and found articles to supervisor; Follow all company and safety and
security policies and procedures, report equipment problems and
maintenance issues, accidents, injuries and safety hazards, or
unsafe work conditions to leadership; and Any and all other work as
required to complete the primary purpose of the position. Preferred
Prior Experience: Previous hotel housekeeping or other applicable
cleaning experience Prior customer service experience Preferred
Education: High school diploma or equivalent Physical: Able to lift
a minimum of 50lbs occasionally and 20lbs regularly Able to bend
and squat repeatedly Able to walk and stand for duration of
scheduled shift Other: Flexible towork dayshifts, early mornings,
evenings, nights, weekends and holidays

desechos a las --reas de eliminaci--n. - Limpiar alfombras,
moquetas, muebles tapizados y cortinas; - Garantizar el uso de
productos qu--micos de limpieza aprobados; - Operar, almacenar y
mantener armarios de almacenamiento y carritos de limpieza para
incluir art--culos como ropa de cama, toallas, art--culos de
tocador y art--culos de limpieza; - Mantener la limpieza y
organizaci--n en todas las --reas de trabajo; Examinar y clasificar
los art--culos para lavar seg--n el color, la tela, el contenido de
suciedad y la t--cnica de limpieza requerida; - Utilice equipo de
lavado y las cantidades correctas de productos qu--micos adecuados
para limpiar y planchar la ropa de forma segura y exhaustiva; -
Hacer rondas por los pasillos en cada turno para garantizar que las
--reas p--blicas est--n desinfectadas, limpias y ordenadas.
Mantener los est--ndares departamentales de calidad del trabajo y
tiempos medidos por las m--tricas de satisfacci--n del cliente de
la marca y las pautas laborales de Atrium; - Puede ser necesario
que capacite a los asociados reci--n contratados y apoye el
desarrollo continuo del desempe--o; - Realizar trabajos en un
programa de limpieza profunda y mantenimiento preventivo programado
para todas las --reas del hotel asignadas. Utilice equipos
el--ctricos cuando corresponda; - Observar las precauciones
necesarias para proteger el hotel y la propiedad de los hu--spedes,
informar da--os, robos y art--culos encontrados al supervisor; -
Seguir todas las pol--ticas y procedimientos de seguridad y de la
empresa, informar al liderazgo sobre problemas de equipos y
problemas de mantenimiento, accidentes, lesiones y riesgos de
seguridad, o condiciones de trabajo inseguras; Todos y cada uno de
los dem--s trabajos necesarios para completar el prop--sito
principal del puesto. Calificaciones: Experiencia previa en
limpieza de hotel u otra experiencia de limpieza aplicable.
Experiencia previa en servicio al cliente. Educaci--n preferida:
Diploma de escuela secundaria o su equivalente F--sico: Capaz de
levantar un m--nimo de 50 libras ocasionalmente y 20 libras
regularmente. Capaz de doblarse y ponerse en cuclillas
repetidamente Capaz de caminar y estar de pie durante el turno
programado. Otro: Flexible para trabajar en turnos diurnos,
temprano en la ma--ana, tarde, noche, fines de semana y feriados.
