you will do:Evaluate children using appropriate testing protocols,
tools, etc. to follow funding guidelines for each particular
childComplete audit form to be turned in with each evaluationCreate
appropriate goals/objectives to be turned in with each
evaluationSchedule children onto caseload by contacting the
parent/guardianProvide therapy services to children based on the
recommended number of units from evaluations and
prescriptionsProvide therapy services in a variety of settings
including home, daycare, schools, outpatient clinic, community,
etc.Provide documentation of all therapy services by locking and
electronically signing weekly progress notesUpdate and turn in
efficiency reports weeklyUpdate schedule on the serverEnter
scheduled evaluations on the serverProvide administration with
updated credentials as neededEnsure that non-treatment time is
reported to and approved by administration per policy. Enters all
non-treatment time into deTASOComplete additional paperwork
requirements in an accurate and timely manner as notified by
administration. These requirements include, but are not limited
to:Annual re-evaluationsSix-month progress notesDischarge
SummariesEarly Intervention paperwork (if needed)Be available to
provide occupational therapy services and other related duties
(meetings, conferences, etc.) during the days and hours stipulated
in the employment agreementBe available to children and families to
ensure continuity of care and proper management of
treatmentReasonable accommodations may be made to enable
individuals with disabilities to perform the essential
functions.What you have:Ability to communicate effectively and
professionally with a wide variety of peopleMust be able to work
with children from birth to age 21 and their familiesStrong
organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracyBasic
computer skills which include a working knowledge of database, word
processing, spreadsheet, and Internet softwareAbility to handle
multiple tasks in a very busy environmentMinimum
Requirements:Current, unrestricted Occupational Therapist license
as approved by the Texas licensing boardCurrent NBCOT
certificationPediatric Experience (preferred)Physical Demands:While
performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently
required to talk or hear. The employee is regularly required to
walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with
hands and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand and
stoop, twist, bend, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must
frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision
abilities required by this job include close vision, distance
vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and
ability to adjust focus. The employee is required to maintain
regular and punctual attendance. The employee is required to
