Lead is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the planning,
implementation, and tracking of specific projects within Dallas
College. The role involves collaborating with team members and
stakeholders to ensure complex project goals are met on time,
within budget, and with high-quality deliverables.REQUIRED
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Ability to plan a project from inception to completion, manage
the creation and execution of various deliverables, and work with
all project-related resources including but not limited to
establishing and managing effective partnerships with project
partners and key stakeholders, quality and cohesion of training,
networking and project output, reporting of financial and
operational progress.
- Responsible for leading change management activities and
promoting key aspects of the project's vision to all business
constituents.
- Determine and document guidelines and/or process flows related
to data management.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical and problems solving skills
and be able to converse with team members, stakeholders, vendors,
etc.
- Lead and ensure the delivery of project tasks with technical
and functional partners; hold team members accountable based on
identified roles and responsibilities during project
execution.
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task, work independently and/or
with a team(s) to plan, organize, schedule and coordinate project
tasks and activities.
- Must have excellent time management, planning and
organizational skills and be able to adapt to changing work
environments, work priorities and organizational needs to meet
objectives.
- Must be able to provide clear and concise communication
effectively, both orally and in writing to all levels of
organization.
- Able to provide/manage documentation oversight for assigned
project(s) including development of policies, procedures and
training documentation, as necessary.
- Must have excellent customer service skills.KEY
RESPONSIBILITES:
- Project Planning: Collaborate with stakeholders to define
project scope, goals, and deliverables. Develop a detailed project
plan, including timelines, budget, and resource allocation.
- Project Management: Lead and motivate cross-functional teams to
complete project deliverables within the given timeline and budget.
Track progress, identify potential risks and issues, and provide
solutions.
- Communication: Maintain regular communication with stakeholders
to ensure project status updates and manage expectations.
Facilitate communication within the team to ensure all members are
aligned and informed of project progress.
- Resource Management: Allocate resources appropriately to ensure
timely delivery of project milestones. Identify and mitigate
potential resource constraints and conflicts.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that project deliverables meet the
required quality standards. Develop and implement quality assurance
measures throughout the project lifecycle.
- Change Management: Manage changes to project scope, timeline,
and budget while maintaining project quality standards. Develop and
implement change management processes and procedures.There are two
positions available. One positions supports faculty initiatives and
the other position supports program operations.Faculty Initiatives:
- Coordinate End-to-End Faculty Hiring Processes: Lead and manage
the annual faculty hiring cycle across the College, including
project planning, stakeholder coordination, communications, and
process improvement for consistent, timely, and equitable hiring
practices.
- Oversee Faculty Evaluation Project Cycles: Drive the planning
and execution of college-wide faculty evaluation processes,
ensuring alignment with policy, compliance timelines, and
continuous quality improvement for both full-time and adjunct
faculty.
- Facilitate Collaboration Between Academic Leadership and HR:
Serve as a liaison between academic leadership in schools and HR
teams to operationalize faculty-related initiatives, improve
workflow, and resolve barriers to execution.
- Monitor and Report on Faculty Metrics: Develop and maintain
systems for tracking, analyzing and reporting key faculty-related
data (e.g., hiring, credentialing, evaluations) to inform
decision-making and ensure transparency and accountability.
- Advance Faculty-Centered Strategic Projects: Support the
implementation of faculty onboarding, or credentialing initiatives
that enhance faculty engagement and academic excellence
college-wide.Program Operations:
- Lead the Annual Program Review Process: Project manage the
end-to-end cycle of academic program review across all seven
schools, ensuring timelines, data inputs, stakeholder engagement,
and deliverables are met with consistency and quality.
- Coordinate Academic Program Operations: Serve as the central
operations point for academic program support, aligning workflows
and process improvements related to scheduling, course planning,
and resource management.
- Support Enrollment Management Strategy: Collaborate with school
deans, advising teams, and institutional research to support
enrollment planning efforts, including demand forecasting, seat
utilization, and course alignment with student pathways.
- Streamline Cross-School Communication and Implementation:
Facilitate coordination between academic leadership, student
services, and operations teams to ensure unified implementation of
program-level initiatives and policy changes.
- Monitor Key Academic Operational Metrics: Track, analyze and
report on academic program health indicators (e.g., enrollment
trends, program viability, student outcomes) to inform planning and
drive data-informed decision-making.As a Senior Project Lead, you
will be responsible for driving projects forward and ensuring that
they meet the expected goals, timeline, and budget. You will need
to be a skilled communicator, leader, and problem-solver to ensure
project success.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSNormal physical job functions

REQUREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field such as business,
engineering, or project management.
- 8+ years of experience in project management, with a proven
track record of delivering complex projects on time and within
budget or Master's Degree in a related field.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to
inspire and motivate teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Expertise with project management software and tools like
(Smartsheets, Monday.com, Asana, Trello)
- Knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile,
Scrum, and Waterfall.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- PMI and/or PMP certification is a plus.
- Bilingual preferred.The intent of this job description is to
