Job Summary:
McKesson Technology is seeking a highly experienced Enterprise
Resiliency Architect to be part of our resiliency team in
designing, implementing, and maturing the enterprise resiliency
posture. This role will collaborate with key stakeholders to
enhance cyber resilience, disaster recovery, and technology
resiliency. The successful candidate will have a strong background
in cloud architecture, microservices, and modern architecture for
resiliency and disaster recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Designing cyber resilience solutions: You will design and
architect resilience solutions that incorporate best practices for
high availability, disaster recovery, and technology resiliency.
This includes designing robust systems, networks, and applications
that can withstand cyber threats and ensure business
continuity.
2. Developing application design guidelines: You will establish
application design guidelines that promote high availability,
disaster recovery, and technology resiliency. This may involve
implementing redundant systems, load balancing, fault tolerance,
and failover mechanisms to minimize downtime and ensure
uninterrupted service.
3. Implementing disaster recovery strategies: You will partner with
service and solution teams to help design recovery strategies to
ensure that critical systems and data can be quickly and
effectively restored in the event of a major incident or disaster.
This may involve designing recovery processes, establishing
recovery time objectives (RTOs) and recovery point objectives
(RPOs), and advising the service and solution teams on how best to
test the effectiveness of the recovery plans.
4. Enhancing technology resiliency: You will identify and partner
with technology teams to implement technologies and solutions that
enhance the organization's technology resiliency. This may include
implementing redundant network connections, leveraging cloud
services for data backup and recovery, and implementing failover
mechanisms for critical infrastructure components.
5. Collaborating with solution and service teams: You will work
closely with solution and service teams to ensure that resiliency
principles and best practices are integrated into the design and
development of applications. This includes reviewing application
architectures, conducting security reviews, and providing guidance
on secure coding practices.
6. Conducting architecture assessments: You will partner with our
technology teams to assess the organization's existing architecture
and infrastructure to identify vulnerabilities and areas for
improvement. Based on these assessments, you will develop
architectural recommendations to enhance cyber resilience, high
availability, disaster recovery, and technology resiliency.
7. Providing technical leadership and guidance: You will serve as a
technical leader and provide guidance to cross-functional teams on
cyber resilience best practices, high availability, disaster
recovery, and technology resiliency. This includes mentoring team
members, conducting training sessions, and ensuring adherence to
industry standards and regulations.
8. Staying updated on emerging technologies and industry trends:
You will stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends,
and best practices related to cyber resilience, high availability,
disaster recovery, and technology resiliency. This will enable you
to recommend and implement innovative solutions to mitigate
evolving cyber threats.
10. Participating in architectural reviews and governance
processes: You will actively participate in architectural reviews
and governance processes to ensure that cyber resilience principles
and best practices are incorporated into the organization's
technology roadmap. This includes collaborating with stakeholders
to ensure that cyber resilience requirements are met during project
