Job Description:
Job Summary The success of Legend Homes is centered on the
experience a buyer and our builder partners receive in the purchase
of a new home. This experience starts from our online presence, to
visiting our sales office, contracting on a new home, to closing on
their new home. The role of the Vice President of Sales is to
ensure the mission and values of the Company are adhered to in the
Dallas Division as it pertains to coaching our sales team on
conversion and maintaining sales through closing, strategizing on
community execution for each new land position, delivering on the
financial goals of the Company and leading the sales organization
to achieve and exceed Company initiatives. Status: Full Time,
Exempt/Salaried Division/Team: Dallas/Legend Homes Reports to: COO
Supervises: Area Sales Manager(s), Sales Coordinator(s) and Closing
Coordinator(s) Essential Duties and Responsibilities includes the
following: Recruit high performing sales talent balancing the
strengths of the individual and Division goals. Sales Lead for
companywide integration of JD Edwards and Sales Force CRM tool.
Actively Participate in Dallas HBA to establish strong business
relationships. Lead regular Sales Rally’s that are both motivating
and informative. Coach and train on the sales process starting from
Discovery to Closing and Proper Follow-up. Ensure team has adequate
training on all the technology tools to aid in their success.
Establish sales goal and professional growth driven objectives for
Area Sales Managers (ASMs) and Division Sales Professionals. Meet
with ASMs regularly to assist in execution of Division goals,
Personal Growth Plans and goals as outlines for Division Sales
Professionals. Ensure Community pricing and incentives are adjusted
to achieve Division goals. Lead Grand Opening efforts of new
communities. Work closely with the Vice President of Construction
on achieving starts and closing goals and customer satisfaction
results from point of sale to closing. Develop annual Sales and
Closing Plan. Monitor sales and closing goals against budgets.

monthly. Monitor gross margin actuals vs. goal per community.
Establish sales and marketing overhead budget and track results
monthly. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Utilize
Sales Force to review weekly traffic per Community, including sales
team follow-up actions achieved and planned. Consult and Strategize
with Regional Director of Marketing community traffic goals and
conversion success (both appointment and sales conversion) to
achieve Division and Community goals. Stay current with market
trends including product and feature trends, pricing and incentive
strategy, land acquisition hot spots, mortgage market changes,
shifts in our target buyer profile, etc. Lead Company execution of
product offering, standard and upgrade features offered and pricing
(base pricing, option pricing and all incentives) for all
communities. Required Skills and Abilities: Strong understanding in
the needs of our customers in the housing market. Strong knowledge
in CRM, Office 365 and builder systems. Proven track record of
building and managing professional sales teams in a high
performing, rapidly growing environment. A natural ability to
collaborate and work with cross-functional teams. Ability to hire,
ramp up, lead and motivate sales teams to high performance. Proven
ability to support sales staff while coaching them on effective
sales presentation and processes. Strong negotiation, mediation,
and conflict resolution skills. Excellent creative and strategic
thinking to provide solutions to Company challenges. Effective oral
and written communication for internal reviews, analysis,
summaries, feedback, and executive reports - ability to effectively
present information. Strong analytical, organizational, and time
management skills. Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in
real estate, business, or equivalent working experience. 10 years
real estate experience. 5 years in sales management experience.
Experience with financial analysis, negotiations and contract
management. Strong understanding of construction projects from
acquisition to completion. Texas real estate market experience a
plus. Physical Requirements/Working Conditions: Professional office
