Job Description:
Fidelity Investments, a leader in global financial services and
one of the world's largest asset managers, is seeking an
experienced Director, Valuations to oversee our valuation
practices. Based in our Boston, MA headquarters, the ideal
candidate will lead initiatives to ensure that all asset valuations
are accurate and compliant with applicable standards and
regulations. This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity of
Fidelity’s financial reporting and for supporting strategic
decision-making. Reporting directly to the CFO, this position
requires a strategic thinker with a detailed understanding of
valuation methodologies across a diverse range of assets. Develop
and oversee comprehensive valuation models and methodologies.
Ensure all valuation activities adhere to regulatory requirements
and company policies. Collaborate with senior management to provide
strategic insights based on valuation outcomes. Manage and mentor a
team of valuation professionals. Coordinate with external auditors
to facilitate transparent and efficient audits. Stay abreast of
market trends to continuously refine valuation practices. Expertise
in various valuation methodologies including discounted cash flow
and comparative analysis. Strong analytical and quantitative
skills. Excellent leadership and communication skills. Proficiency
with financial modeling and analysis software. Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Chartered
Financial Analyst (CFA) certification preferred. Certified Public
Accountant (CPA) or similar relevant certification.
